There are several neighborhoods in and around Nashville and seven Satellite Cities all within Davidson County . Satellite cities are small cities that existed before the formation of the Metropolitan Government in 1963 and did not consolidate into Metro. These cities provide their own urban services (usually additional police protection, garbage collection, and zoning) within their city limits. The seven satellite cities are: Goodlettsville, Berry Hill, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Lakewood, Belle Meade and Ridge Top.

Antioch – Priest Lake - Antioch is a suburb in the South Eastern part of Davidson County and it bumps up to Percy Priest Lake to the North. To the West it bumps up to Brentwood and that area has been nicknamed Brentioch, but is actually Caine Ridge.

Bellevue – Bellevue is home to one of the highest ranked elementary schools in all of Davidson County, Harpeth Valley Elementary. It is a small suburb, that is fastly growing, just South-West of Downtown. It features the Bellevue Mall, which is scheduled for a facelift in the next year and a favorite Nashville hotspot; the world-famous Loveless Cafe.

Belle Meade – is an incorporated municipality within the city of Nashville and is located on the West side of town. Visit the city website HERE.

Berry Hill - Berry Hill is one of seven “satellite cities” of Nashville.  Although small in size (one square mile) and population (approximately 700), Berry Hill is a thriving community with a healthy mix of residents and large and small businesses, including over forty recording studios and music publishers.
